Wolves don't have all the same vocabulary as Humans, obviously. Here's some wolf ways of saying things.

At the very north of PD, separating it from the rest of the world until the beach begins, there are tall, majestic mountains where many make their home.

The vast, barren Tundras accross Putnar's Den are extremely cold in the winter, and in the spring, few plants grow taller than a rabbit. These are excellent hunting grounds, scince there is plenty of room to tire out prey. The number of stars in the night sky here is second only to the mountains.

Just south of the mountains, there is a long stretch of green valley. A river divides in into two nearly equal parts, although the river thins out right before the forest before it is clogged by a beaver dam. The river then dries out and leads to the gorge.

The small area of the valley where the river slows to a small stream is where a few twolegs have built their dens. They are rarely hostile, although most do not take any particular enjoyment in seeing a wolf near their cubs.

This forest has tall, tall birch trees. Some wolves that can jump high and have strong hind legs like to make their dens in the hollow of these trees, as it is safe from most other wolves and humans. A dry gorge runs through here.

East of the forest there is a beautiful waterfall, it's water clear and clean. But beware, for looks can be deceiving: around the waterfall is a circle of reeds, making it difficult to see where you are going. If you fall into the beautiful, clear waters, the strong current would carry you into treacherous rapids, where you would more than likely meet your doom. However, and the very end of the waterfall near the beach, the water ends in a large, calm pool, the most reliable source of clean water in PD.

The dry gorge splits the forest in half with it's sandy, dry crevices. It is not an advisable place to go, as prey is scarce and there is little shelter from the elements and hostile beings.

The beaches are where the grassy areas end and the sand and rocks begin. The waters of the lake lap against the shores, sometimes quite violently during storms.

The Lake is what separates PD from the marshes. An abandoned rickety twoleg bridge attaches the two. But be careful! Only one at a time on the bridge. It's very unstable.
