"I know," Nightrun replied. "That was my first thought. Besides, I have to think of the whole pack- if we meddle with dogs, who knows what the Humans might do." However, there were other factors to consider besides the Humans. Feather's individual safety was at risk if Nightrun banned her from seeing Scythe, for the obvious reason that she would see him anyway during the day. And every wolf knew the risks of venturing out during the day. Nightrun just couldn't see any solution that didn't involve putting someone at risk.

"I have to say I agree on this one with you, Nightrun, and you Kuma." Sorrel lip twisted into a wiry smile. "It's best for the pack this way." She looked at Kuma for a few moments, lost in thought. "If you had chose differently," she spoke turning back to Nightrun, "then you would probably have to let him join the pack and then there would be a bigger up roar." Sorrel shuddered at the thought of sharing a den with a human dog. "We don't know what the humans taught him either. Considering the fact that most large dogs and trained for dealing with us." she growled as though she could almost see a line of enemies in front of her.
"Although on the other paw he might be nice to have around for protection and hunting, because since we came here there haven't been any pups and the pack is small." She made a sour face. "We probably would of had to teach him hunting also, because there aren't any humans around to finish it off."

Nightrun was silent for a minute, processing everything Sorrel had just said. It was all true, and the options for either choice (ban Feather from seeing Scythe, or make him part of the pack) evened out. There was just no easy answer. Help! She pleaded, turning her gaze to the bright stars gleaming above. Someone up there must be able to show her the right decision.

Kuma was thinking about what Sorrel had just said. "I think that if we let Scythe into the pack, Feather would forget about us, and only think of Scythe. It wouldn't be good to lose a member of the pack, even if they didn't leave," Kuma said, hoping that the other two were listening and not looking at the ground as if a mouse was going to save the day and tell them what to do. Kuma looked around and saw Nightrun looking up at the sky. Being the curious wolf that Kuma was, she looked up too, and tried to make out things from clouds.

Noticing that Kuma had followed her gaze, Nightrun quickly tore her gaze away from the sky and concentrated instead on the path ahead. "I disagree," Nightrun replied slowly. "There are other mates in the pack- a pack is meant to be joined with love. I really don't think that's an issue." Nightrun looked to Sorrel for support, but the black wolf had been silent for a while now.

Kuma replied with, "Oh, I see. Well, if you think so, you should have a pack meeting." Kuma looked over at Nightrun and saw if the young wolf was thinking about her idea.

Sorrel let out a soft sigh. "There are plenty of other young male wolves in the pack. Feather just needs time to heal before she realizes that there are others besides the Wolf/dog." she murmured softly. Her mind drifted for moment to a nameless face before snapping back to attention. "You must also remember, Nightrun, that this is your choice. We're only meant to put in our opinions, not make your choice for you. In the end we will support you and your decision, which ever one your choose, well at least I know I will." and she found that she spoke the truth, every word.

Nightrun nodded. She knew her friend was right, and that it was her and Raenor's decision in the end. However, she wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. One way or the other, she knew the pack would accept whichever decision she chose to make in the end.
[OOC: Sorry guys.. I don't really know where to take this...]
