Walking through the trees, i looked around, there seemed like there was no life anymore, everything was bare, and too calm for my likings, what happened to all the life that roamed in these forests? What happened to Mero? the child with powers that were not understandable to humans, what happened to palla, and everyone else i knew. I knew i couldn't mention fang, after all she was well.... deceased... it made me sad realizing that i was the only one from the pack still left, still whole, and still living, a elder manly that soon would die.... i hate saying this, but i needed too, i was too old, yet still had life in me, i looked around, my black and gold coat gleamed in the suns rays while my blue eyes searched the terrain for life.
I went over toward the waters edge, and lapped up a couple mouth fulls, even water tasted funny to me now a days..... I could feel my stomach turn, it was hungry as well, i looked around and notice a small rabbit laying on the ground, already dead.... I went over to it, my paws somewhat gray, as the sun moved its way down the mountain side, the moon made its way up. Death and despairer now made its way, from the life, and happiness. What would happen now? And who's food was this?

((( OOC: No first person, Kana! ;] )))
Nightrun's copper eyes blinked in the night, emblazoned with the reflection of the high moon. It would be an excellent night for hunting, but the young alpha wasn't really in the mood for that sort of rush. Raenor could take the males if he wanted. The young she-wolf padded quietly up beside Kana, hardly making a noise. "Beautiful night," she said softly, her words almost lost in the wind coming off the lake.

Kana's ears perked as she looked up toward the full moon, it was beautiful, yet her ears went sideways as she herd another wolf come next to her, "Hello nightrun, how are you tonight, and yes it is a beautiful night tonight..." She wasnt threaten by this wolf, hell she knew who she was, and where she came from. Kana looked down at the lake, as she notice a fish swim up, it was confusing them, she let out a slight grunt and laugh.

.:And listen to the Thunder:.
A flash of white cut across the dark horizon, sending sand flying up everywhere and disturbing the otherwise peaceful night. Thunder was having a great time sprinting across the beach, with the wind rushing in his ears and the sand blinding his vision. He didn't even notice the dark figures ahead of him, and almost skidded into his alpha as he desperately attempted to stop at the last second before running into the lake. "Sorry Nightrun," Thunder growled breathlessly, bowing his head in apology and respect. "I should have been watching... I didn't see you. Oh, hello Kana."

Kana could sense another wolf coming quickly up toward them, but didnt know who it was. Her power turned on quickly, eyes not blood read, and her body slightly bigger now. She let out a nasty growl as she say a white male wolf approched them, her ears listened to his words: "I should have been watching... I didn't see you. Oh, hello Kana."
Her eyes reflected off the water, while she stared at the male, her body turned while her eyes narrowed, "How do you know my name? and I dont know yours...." She growled again, then looked at Nightrun...

Thunder blinked. He knew he hasn't been here long, but you would think the pack would remember his name. "I'm Thunder," he reminded her. "We've only met briefly- on hunts and at camp." He inspected her eyes, which returned the stare with the same yellow hue as his own. He would swear they had been red only moments before... how odd.

Nightrun hurriedly flattened her fur- it had begun to bristle without her permission when Thunder had almost ran her into the lake. "That's alright, Thunder," the she-wolf replied as she regained her composure. "Just be a little more careful- some older wolves might not be as forgiving if you push them into the lake." But Nightrun's warning was laced with pure amusement as she imagined someone like Mero or Cedar, sodding wet after another one of Thunder midnight runs.

Kana's fur unfluffed its self, and her eyes in the moon light turned back to there normal color: Blue. She cocked her head, but couldnt remember this wolf, but she rememebered his looks, instesting. She tilted her head off to one side, and looked at the lake, if he would have pushed her in the lake, kana was sure she would hunt this wolf down and kill him. She thrusted for a kill now, she licked her lips and looked at the male wolf, her eyes turned again crimson red. "Lets hunt.... i'm hungry..." She said, looking over at nightrun, a cocky look was over her muzzle, she was getting frisky, and over all cocky. She walked over to this so called thunder, and rubbed up against his pelt, nipping at his flank. "Hunt with us..." kana spoke with some domination, after all she was a elder...

[OOC: She's getting... frisky?? O.o]
Nightrun hesitated- she knew how Kana could get when they were on the hunt. There was a certain "zone" most wolves went to while hunting, but Kana went ever deeper than that. It was as if she wasn't even the same wolf. "Well... alright," the alpha replied after a moment, though she knew Kana was no longer paying attention to anything she said. Nightrun's fur bristled a little in frustration- just because she was an elder doesn't mean she could go around ordering her pack members around. Glancing at Thunder apologetically, knowing she would be dragging him into what would probably be his first hunt with Kana, she flicked her tail for him to follow her as the old black wolf led them away from the beach.

((OOC: Frisky lol))
Confusion flickered into Thunder's intense yellow gaze, but it was quickly replaced with anticipation- he hadn't ever hunted with the Putnar yet since he had joined their ranks. In fact, he hadn't hunted with a pack in ages! He hurried to follow Nightrun and Kana as they headed... well, Thunder didn't quite know where they were headed, but they knew the land much better than he did. He had no doubt they would go to the best hunting place in the Valley. Thunder's shimmery white pelt began to bristle involuntarily with excitement.

Kana looked back to see if they were following, she slowly started off, eyes once again there crimson red, her body pretty normal, yet her eyes gave her sights no one could see, the heat of deer or rabbits. Kana looked back at them both, and looked at Thunders expresion. She blinked her eyes, then looked back forward, yet the seronding were different.... the three were dead, the forest wasnt the same. Something was wrong, but there in the distance laid Fang, her body still, it seemed like kana walked over toward her, smelling her body, but there laid a human in the distance. something was wrong here, why did she lay here unconsious not alive, then another wolf came in, a white one, just sitting there by the human. Something was wrong....
ooc: just to let you know, shes in like a trans like state, if a different world, or just zoned out, shes not moving now ^^
and yes frisky, lol just had to add something

Kuma was walking gingerly in the forest, careful to not step on any twigs. Kuma heard a soft noise and noticed that she knew those voices. Stepping out into tnhe glade, she saw Kana, Nightrun, and Thunder all talking together. Quiet as a mouse, Kuma slipped in and said, "Hello."

Nightrun nodded at Kuma, not wanting to disturb the hunt, and motioned for her to join in beside Thunder and herself. Then, with a sigh of relief, Nightrun let her instincts take her as Kana led the way through the foresty undergrowth. The alpha had every trust in Kana's skills, and it was always a nice change not to lead every hunt. The wolves moved forward, not as a small pack, but as one creature. This was what a pack was truly about. Four sets of bright eyes gleamed with the reflection of the stars, and no one's paws made so much as a crackle despite the layer of dead leaves underneath them. Instead, they slunk silently between the trees, aware of each other's every action.
Nightrun blinked as the succulent scent of deer filled her nostrils, and she could feel their slow, lazy movements echoing on the forest floor. Kana must smell the herd too- so why hadn't the older wolf signalled yet? Was something wrong?

Though Thunder's hunting instincts had been a little curdled, what with him living as a loner for so long before, even he could scent the deer herd and feel their movements in the ground beneath him. The gray-white wolf narrowed his yellow eyes, and noticed Nightrun hesitating as well. Either the grisled wolf named Kana had lost her touch, or there was something very wrong. Most likely the latter...
