Kana couldnt understand why this wolf was just standing there, with a human. The humans hand went onto the top of the wolves head, he started to growl, and return Kana growled back.
In real time kana had turned around, looking staight at nightrun, her eyes a deep red with a slightly hint of blue, her eyes almost in a translike state, she crouched down and started to growl toward nightrun. She spoke in a light tone: fang.....
Fang? Kana couldnt undertstand she remembered fang as half fox but couldnt understand why she was pure white and was trying to attack kana. kana backed up then pounded knocking this fang creature to the ground growling ontop of her, this wasnt right something was terraibly wrong thats when it hit kana, she wasnt in another world. This world was that of the dead and nothing more, where humans and wolves had to live with one another, and never be apart.
Kana landed onto of something not sure if she pushed Nightrun down or not, but she did awake then. Relizing she was still growling, and stopped, blinked a couple times, eyes returning to her red color, while her body stayed in shock, was that a hint she was going to die soon? Or was in a hint that she was going to get killed by a human. T
he smell of deer hit her nose but payed no attention to it, all she saw was nightrun, "oh no..... Night...." She spoke scared of the outcome: "nightrun i'm so sorry i.... i didnt mean to, jump on you and growl...." She looked away relizing that there were others around, she sat down after getting off. What was the meaning to that.... she looked over toward Nightrun again, for the first time in a long while she was shocked.... That wasnt right.... nothing made sense.

"Oof!" Nightrun fell roughly onto her back as the weight of the elder came crashing down on her unexpectedly. What was Kana doing?! She heard a loud, ferocious growl erupt from Kana's muzzle, and Nightrun shrank deeper into the ground. Thoughts came rushing to the top of her head with the adrenaline the knock had activated. If the old wolf didn't get off of her, she would have to fight back. Nightrun knew (and Kana probably did as well) that an elder did not stand a chance against a hardened alphess. However, the black she-wolf was saved from acting on her desicion, because Kana leaped away from her as quickly as she had pounced onto her. "Nightrun I'm sorry, I didn't mean to... " Kana's words were jumbled with confusion. Nightrun stood up, shook herself off, and demanded violently, "Kana, what has gotten into you?" Then, more softly, "Is something wrong?"

Thunder jumped back in alarm at the scene Kana had caused, his yellow eyes flashing in panic. Imagine- his first pack hunt, and and elder attacked the alphess! Did these things happen often around here? He backed away from the two older wolves and sidled closer to Kuma. The large wolf managed to hide his alarm, flattening his fur with some considerable effort and moving into a calmer, more controlled stance. The last thing he wanted was to appear weak in front of his superiors. However, he needn't have worried; the other three wolves seemed to be engrossed in what had just happened, and paid no attention to him. It seemed as though their hunting expedition had been cut short. Oh, well.

Kana just stood there, not sure what to do. She flatten her ears though in a sigh of summive behavior. She was ashamed of her self but also very confused.... She looked over toward thunder, then back at nightrun. Why was she being so strang... her powers were weakening, and her body was getting old, but she didnt amagin she was going to snap out. Nightrun's voice came over quick whild kana staired at the ground, her face soften then.
Fang was like her mother, she treated her as her own. Kana's ears unpinned and came forward. Her time was coming, fang showed her destainy. Wolves and humans lived together to fight as one. She looked up to nightrun then, her eyes quickly changed back to her blue state, words of an elder, yet the ones of a calm elder came quick: "nightrun, my child, i belive you will lead this pact to great lenghts. for i will not have my powers much longer, im afraid i will.... die soon." she looked away then but contiued, "The souls i saw was that of my arch enimy, a human, the man i killed to save a child at the time named Mero, but next to his side was that of a god to me, almost like my mother, Fang. She was pure white, a sign she passed over well, but her soul still lay here in the soil we sit on today. Do you know the tale of Fang, Nightrun? Or Thunder?" I asked then a shiver went down my spine. Eyes looked around again, the deer was strong, but it took no chance to kill it.
ooc: I DONT WANT TO KILL OFF KANA!!!!! i'll miss her too much!!!!! But i think im going to make a new kana ^^

Confusion clouded Nightrun's eyes for a moment at her elder's words. She had heard of Fang, yes. The legendary wolf had been the most well-known alpha in the history of, well, anything. Any wolf who didn't know of Fang was an ignorant fool. But she had to admit, she had never heard any tales- especially not from someone like Kana, who came from the great alpha's original pack. How many were there left of that pack, Nightrun wondered. Very few. Nightrun's voice was gentle and warm as she answered, "No Kana, I haven't heard any tales of Fang; only that she was a remarkable leader. I'm sure you have many to tell."

Kana sat down, concentrating on her breathing, she remembered how to still make fire. But she didnt remember must of her past. Except for Fang of course, a strong leader, gracefull and proud, strong cubs and wonderfull memories of fang... Kana closed her eyes, then spoke thinking of fang: "I remember when i was just about 1 years old, i had lost everything, my family, friends, and better yet hunters. I was known to kill cattle, known to do much of the stuff many farmers hated. I have a 'S' Shape scare to prove it as well. She got up and showed the scare, tail slightly medium level. Kana then walked toward the tree and notice some of the branches that broke from the heavy snow fall, she took a couple and brought it over toward Thunder and Nightrun.
Looking at the pieces and took a medium stick and sat down, taking the stick in her paws she began to rub them together a spark came through, then another, soon a small flame had appeared... She then blew on it a little more, and a fire had started. "Fangs friend taught me that." I told them both, the fire crackled and popped, while she stood next to it. She began again: " When i met Fang i thought she was going to kill me, thinking that i was just a pup up to no good, but she took me in as her own, unexperienced with the outside world besides the cattle i hunted, hunters wanted me for dead and many years attempted to kill me. But it was no good, it never happened.... I helped raise fangs children and moved out after ward, leaving Fang and her mate alone for a bit. But that never stopped me form seeing her and her children grow up. They still roam these lands as well." Kana stated then spoke again: " Our world, Putnars Den, was just that a Den, there was no terrains, no leaders no nothing to part us from our selves. We lived as a huge pack, protecting these lands when needed. Many have traveled and many have left, but our loyalty is still here." I stood up then spoke again, "Over the years Fang grew old, and grew more wise, and with wisdom came fatiege and tiredness. But that never stopped her form producing her life for this pack. Fang was Loyal and well known, but never mess with her, for she would own you..." I laughed a little but then my eyes went down casted, toward the fire, ' Later when i was full grown and almost as old as she was, Fang left us. She was shot and killed by a hunter.... i dont remember if I or someone else killed the hunter, but we knew in the back of our minds that PD was about to change, things would take there tolls and wolves would leave the realm, for Fang had kept them here all along. But not many left, and we stayed loyal to the old rules of PD." I looked toward Nightrun now and spoke, "We berried Fang on the mountain side, where she will always be able to run free, and her spirit will live on, and aid others.... for she has been aiding me all this time. The images i saw where that of Fang, and that i would soon be a ghost like her self. I would live on in the wild like a young one on the lands, but i will not be seen, nor should you miss me, for i will always be here. " i looked toward her then and waited

The three wolves sat in silence for a few moments while Nightrun took everything in. So Fang's death had been the cause of all these packs falling apart. It was hard to believe one single wolf could have had that much impact on the whole Kingdom of wolves. However, Nightrun wasn't a fool; Kana knew much more than she did, and the elder wouldn't lie to her. Besides, there wasn't a wolf on this side of the earth that hadn't head of Fang; it was possible that this one wolf had been important enough to cause the downfall of hundreds of packs everywhere in th Northern Forests. Nightrun suddenly falt a surge of pride as she realized something: because her and Raenor had formed this pack -The Putnar- out of the remnants of the other fallen packs, it was possible that they could be the new legends. She knew it was deadly to think such ambitious thoughts, but what if, before mothers tucked their cubs in at night, stories of Nightrun were told? She, along with her mate (had she just called Raenor her mate? He wouldn't be happy to have known that), could be the new legends told around dimming fires in the dawning light.
"Thank you so much for sharing, Kana," Nightrun said at last. "The story of Fang is a legendary one, and I feel honoured to have been told it first-hand." She stood up to stamp out the fire Kana had made (a fire! How extraordinary! Nightrun had thought only humans could control fire). She glanced at the sky, realizing with only slight surprise that Kana's story had taken up almost the entire night. Dawn swirled in from the tips of the valleys, and you could just barely see the tip of the sun, a bright orb, raw with morning light. The beautiful sunrise signified more to Nightrun now than it had ever had; Fang's story might have ended with this morning, but Nightrun's was only beginning.

Thunder sat, rigid with awe at Kana's story, forgetting how to stand as the other two began to head toward camp for the day. He couldn't believe he had just heard the life story of the legendary Fang from someone who had met her, seen her, lived in the same den as her! Thunder didn't even know why he was so amazed; he had never really believed in those old tales of magical wolves and ancient mountains where the Putnar dwelled. That was what this pack was named after- the magical wolves that were said to have lived deep within the forests of the Northern Mountains. Not the mountains he saw above him now, obviously, but the ones even farther north. The colder ones. The more wild, savage and free mountains. It had been his dream to someday travel there, and see for himself what these so-called "spirits of the ancestors" were. It was said the the peaks of those mountains was the closest you could get to heaven.
Finally remembering how to move, Thunder stood up in a smooth motion and began to pad away. The dawn crept over the valley's edge, ending the night; an ominous reminder that nothing lasted.

Nightrun paused for a moment after making sure the fire had been full put out, trying to decide whether to follow Thunder back to camp, or wait for Kana. Finally, the Alphess decided that Kana could find her way back, and trotted ahead to join the younger wolf. "So, what did you think of that?" She asked him.

Kana's ears perked as she listened to Nightrun then Thunder. She tilted her head off to one side, then spoke again, "Your welcome my alpha, and your welcome to Thunder." She then looked away, eyes slightly down casted, her time was near. But how would she die? Where would she die... the white wolf.
Kana's ears perked again, as she herd Nightrun speak again, kana simply shook her head, "I'll catch up later my alpha, go head." Kana watched as nightrun and thunder covered up the fire. Her light..... dead. Kana got up letting out a sigh, then streated a bit, before she moved the other way. Leaving the group behind.

Thunder looked up into her alpha's eyes, unsure of how to answer. He narrowed his golden eyes, thinking for a moment "That was the most interesting story I've heard in a while," he admitted, locking his intense gaze with Nightrun's. "I don't know if I believe all of it, but Kana is a wonderful story teller."
